Distinguished Achievement Award – 2024
Every year each chapter in the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) has the opportunity to nominate two individuals for the Distinguished Achievement Award.
This award is reserved for those individuals who have excelled in the profession of preventing, deterring, investigating or prosecuting fraud and white collar crime. The nominees can be chapter members or non-chapter members, and they can be from the public sector or the private sector. The nominees can include law enforcement investigators, government investigators, private investigators, security and loss prevention professionals, fraud consultants, academics and prosecuting attorneys.
This award consists of a certificate signed by the members of the Board of Regents of the ACFE that is encased in a wooden frame. It is a very prestigious award that can proudly be displayed in recognition of the recipient’s achievements in the field of fraud examination.
Nominations must include the nominee’s name, title, work address and phone number, as well as their employer’s information. The nomination must also include a copy of the nominees resume as well as a detailed narrative outlining the reasons for the nomination as well as any special achievements or recognition in support of the nomination. The nomination should include any professional designations the nominee has attained. All of the nominations must be forwarded to John Incampo, the Chapter’s Awards & Scholarship Director. The nominations can be emailed to John at JIncampo@da18.state.co.us or they can be faxed to him at 720-874-8628. Please include a cover sheet.
